Gon-Ji-Am

GON JI AM
4653 BEVERLY BL. LA. CA. 90004
(323) 469-4648

Zzi-kae or Jeon-gol (hot pot), especially Bu-dae-zzi-kae is one of the best there.

Order one of them for 2-3 people and have one rice bowl each.

Bu-dae-zzi-kae is literally meaning "military base hot pot" originated from the post-war era back in 1950's in Korea when people were in great hunger and invented this menu out of left-over food from the US military base. They had to boil them altogether not to get sick. That's why you will taste hotdog sausages & hams in it. From the sad history but now it's one of the popular menu.

And... this is how the Bu-dae-zzi-kae looks like usually.
