HANBAT SHUL-LUNG-TANG
4163 W 5th St. Los Angeles, CA 90020
(213)383-9499

Shul-lung-tang (oxtail soup) place. It's actually pronounced like Seol (like Seoul) - lung (yeah, the lung you breathe through) - tang.

Usually busy in the morning of weekends 'cause of the the-night-before hangovers.

Four menus based on the kind of meat you want with the same soup.

$8.99 + tax, CASH ONLY.

It's located on 5th street, right across the street from California market & Carl's Junior. The parking lot entrance is from Western ave., when you see the sign "FLOWERS" that's where you make a turn into.

the entrance from the parking lot

one of their specialties, Kkak-ddu-ki (radish kimchi)
the best ban-chan (side dishes) for Sul-lung-tang EVER!

This is mean only one, look how thick & rick the soup is!!!!!!!!!!!! Hm~

Before you eat, do not forget to add green onions & salt.
Ready to eat?

That looks tasty and hearty too! No green onions for me :P $8.99 is not that bad for oxtail.
